Lanier extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 22-7. They walked away with an 85-72 victory over the Brackenridge Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-55 back in January.

As for Brackenridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-21 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points over those games.

Brackenridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaymison Porter, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 22 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zen Rodriguez, who shot 75% from the field en route to 13 points.

Lanier wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 79-70 defeat against Sam Houston on the 13th. As for Brackenridge, they have also already played their next game, a 41-40 win against Jefferson on the 13th.
