Softball Recap: Quincy Wins Going Away Against Concord

Quincy won the last time they faced Concord and things went their way on Friday too. The Orioles blew past the Yellowjackets 11-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Orioles.

Quincy got a massive performance out of Deziray Skirka, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Miley Poindexter, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Quincy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Concord, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Quincy will head out to square off against Marshall at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Concord, they will take on Union City at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
