Volleyball Game Preview: Liberty Chargers vs. Mater Brighton Lakes Academy Broncos

The Liberty Chargers will take on the Mater Brighton Lakes Academy Broncos at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Liberty and seven for Mater Brighton Lakes Academy.

Liberty came up short against St. Cloud on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While Liberty was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Mater Brighton Lakes Academy lost 3-0 to George Jenkins on Wednesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-8, 25-11.

Mater Brighton Lakes Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything went Liberty's way against Mater Brighton Lakes Academy in their previous meeting back in March, as Liberty made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Broncos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
