After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Iona Prep, Moore Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Monsignor Farrell Lions. This was payback for the Mavericks, who suffered a 7-4 loss the last time these two teams met.
With the victory, Moore Catholic broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-5. As for Monsignor Farrell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
