Sandburg won the last time they faced Stagg and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Sandburg not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Stagg between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

Sandburg's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Stagg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sandburg is set to face off against their familiar foe Bradley-Bourbonnais at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Stagg will square off against rival Lincoln-Way Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
