Basketball Game Preview: Enterprise Yellowjackets vs. Wesson Cobras

Enterprise is 1-9 against Wesson since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Yellowjackets will host the Cobras at 7:30 p.m. Enterprise will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Enterprise will bounce into Friday's game after beating Loyd Star, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Yellowjackets had just enough and edged out the Hornets 48-45.

Meanwhile, Wesson hadn't done well against Amite County recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cobras came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 48-41.

Enterprise's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Wesson, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Enterprise came up short against Wesson in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 54-49. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Cobras' Damarion Smith, who went 11-for-19 to rack up 26 points along with seven boards and five steals.
