Baseball Recap: Crosbyton Takes a Loss

Crosbyton and O'Donnell squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Crosbyton had to settle for second. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Crosbyton and nudges their season record down to 5-12. As for O'Donnell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

Crosbyton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for O'Donnell, they will take on Kress on Thursday. The Kangaroos will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
