Soccer Game Preview: Bloomfield vs. Honeoye

The Bloomfield Bombers will venture away from home to challenge the Honeoye Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bloomfield will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Bloomfield had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Honeoye on Friday. The Bombers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 6-1 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Bloomfield's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 74th, while Honeoye are ranked 252nd).

Honeoye picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Bloomfield, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
