Basketball Recap: Uniontown Gets the Win

Uniontown won against Pleasanton last Tuesday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Uniontown Eagles walked away with a 50-41 win over the Waverly Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Uniontown's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Waverly, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uniontown will face off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waverly, they will challenge Central Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waverly is facing Central Heights at the right time seeing as Central Heights is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
