Basketball Recap: Hampton Comes Up Short

Hampton lost against Union Grove back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hampton Hornets fell 69-56 to the Union Grove Wolverines. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hampton now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Union Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Hampton will challenge North Oconee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Oconee will roll in looking for their 23rd straight victory, something Hampton surely won't give up without a fight. Union Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
