Softball Recap: Granby Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Granby can now relate to. They fell just short of the Kellam Knights by a score of 4-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Comets have suffered since June 4, 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Granby and nudges their season record down to 19-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Kellam, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-1.

As of now, neither Granby nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
