After a string of three wins, Savannah's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chillicothe Hornets. The Savages were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Savannah now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Chillicothe, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Savannah will square off against Lafayette at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Savages are facing the Fighting Irish at the right time seeing as the Fighting Irish are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Chillicothe, they will face off against Bishop LeBlond at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
