After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northampton County, Northwest Halifax was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Weldon Chargers 54-6. Considering the Vikings have won four contests by more than 31 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Northwest Halifax moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Weldon, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwest Halifax will face off against rival Warren County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Weldon is set to challenge their familiar foe Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
