Basketball Recap: Lathrop Takes a Loss

Lathrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 73-23 defeat at the hands of the Penney Hornets. The game marked the Mules' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lathrop's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Penney, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Lathrop will be home for the holidays to greet Orrick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Penney will take on Wellington-Napoleon in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
