Basketball Recap: Virginia City Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Virginia City). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 83-15 win over the Whittell Warriors. The Muckers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Despite the loss, Whittell still got an impressive performance from Rocky Laremore, who posted four points in addition to 15 rebounds and four steals. That's the most boards Laremore has posted since back in December of 2024.

Virginia City pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Whittell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Virginia City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-21 victory against Coleville on the 7th. As for Whittell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 49-40 defeat against Sage Ridge on the 7th.
