Soccer Recap: Hylton Comes Up Short

Hylton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Potomac Senior Panthers. While losing is never fun, Hylton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Potomac Senior are ranked 41st).

Hylton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-2. As for Potomac Senior, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4-1.

Looking ahead, Hylton will square off against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hylton are facing Freedom at the right time seeing as Freedom are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Potomac Senior will be paying especially close attention to Hylton's game: after Hylton faces off against Freedom, they'll take on Potomac Senior again at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
