Sheridan had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.2 points) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Tuesday. They secured a 57-53 W over the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles. This was payback for the Blackhawks, who suffered a 40-37 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sheridan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cecilia Timme out in front who went 7 for 13 en route to 17 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Garner, who almost dropped a triple-double on ten points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists.

Sheridan was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Guerin Catholic only posted nine assists.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caroline Ford, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave Ford a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Bills, who went 8 of 19 on her way to 18 points and three steals.

Sheridan pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Guerin Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Sheridan has already played their next match, a 67-42 win against Delphi Community on the 23rd. As for Guerin Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-39 victory against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on the 24th.
