There's no place like home for Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the Appomattox County Raiders for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-14 win. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

David Bradley was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 184 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Tyler Harless, who rushed for 79 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Heritage was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 309 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Appomattox County didn't rushed for any rushing yards.

The win got Heritage back to even at 1-1. As for Appomattox County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Heritage will look to defend their home field on Friday against Glass at 7:00 p.m. This will be the Pioneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Appomattox County, they will head out to face off against Buckingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
