Volleyball Recap: LEE Comes Up Short

LEE lost against Randolph back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Volunteers fell just short of the Ro-Hawks by a score of 2-1.

Alaina Ruiz paced LEE's offense, picking up eight kills. Ruiz got some help from Chloe Bengoechea and her 26 assists. Ruiz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

LEE has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Randolph, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

LEE will face off against Edinburg at 4:14 p.m. on Thursday. As for Randolph, they will be taking part in a tournament against Jay at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
