Volleyball Recap: ALA - Anthem South Comes Up Short

ALA - Anthem South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Benjamin Franklin Chargers.

ALA - Anthem South took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-18.

ALA - Anthem South's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Benjamin Franklin, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ALA - Anthem South will face off against ALA - Ironwood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will square off against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
