Football Game Preview: Somersworth vs. Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy

Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy will challenge Somersworth on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

After constant struggles on the road, Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy have finally found some success away from home. Everything went their way against Newport last Saturday as they made off with a 42-14 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Somersworth put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Epping/Newmarket 42-6. Somersworth were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped Somersworth to 3-4 and Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy to 1-6. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
