Ellsworth had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 56-55 photo finish over the Altoona Railroaders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-66 back in December of 2024.

Ellsworth's record is now 11-5. As for Altoona, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Ellsworth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-72 win against Amery on the 4th. As for Altoona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-52 defeat against Medford on the 4th.
