Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Shamokin). They blew past the River Valley Panthers 15-4 on Wednesday. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.
Jude Olinger was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Geist, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: West Shamokin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River Valley only managed six hits.
West Shamokin has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for River Valley, their record now sits at 6-12.
West Shamokin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
