Temple City and Blair are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. Shawn Le had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. What's more, he also racked up three steals, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brayden Kwan, who posted 11 points.
Meanwhile, Blair entered their tilt with San Marino on Sunday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They secured a 65-59 W over the Titans.
Temple City better focus on containing Jaleel Hunter and Timmy Anderson as the pair were huge in Blair's win. Hunter had 26 points, while Anderson went 6 of 11 en route to 17 points. Anderson's evening made it 26 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Myles Payne was another key player, putting up six points.
Blair is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Temple City, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-13.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Temple City has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Blair struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Temple City lost to Blair at home by a decisive 91-72 margin in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Anderson, who went 15 for 21 on his way to 52 points and seven assists.
