Flag Football Recap: Appling County Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Saturday just wasn't the day for Appling County's offense. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wheeler County Bulldogs on Saturday.

Appling County's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Wheeler County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Appling County will host Brunswick at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wheeler County, they will welcome Dodge County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Indians' defense has only allowed 4.5 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
