Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Celtics vs. Inman Inman Teutons

The Trinity Celtics just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Inman Inman Teutons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Trinity lost 66-40 to Moundridge on Thursday. The Celtics haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Inman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 51-35 to Ell-Saline. While losing is never fun, the Inman Teutons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Cardinals are ranked 42nd).

Inman's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Trinity didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Inman when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
