Basketball Recap: Cummings Comes Up Short

Cummings lost against Seaforth back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cummings Cavaliers received a blow as they fell 52-34 to the Seaforth Hawks. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seaforth's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Declan Lindquist, who posted 12 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Lindquist a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Emerson, who put up nine points.

Cummings' loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Seaforth, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-11.

Cummings does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seaforth, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
