Basketball Recap: Nicolet Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Nicolet extended their road winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Rashaad Davis. The Nicolet Knights secured an 85-80 W over the West Allis Central Bulldogs on Saturday thanks in part to Davis, who went 13 for 22 on his way to 29 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. His afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Nicolet's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for West Allis Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nicolet will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Slinger at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Slinger will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Nicolet surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Allis Central, they will face off against New Berlin West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
