Softball Game Preview: Earlville Red Raiders vs. Serena Huskers

For the second straight game, Earlville will face off against Serena. The Red Raiders will head out to face off against the Huskers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Earlville fell victim to Serena and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Huskers, falling 13-0. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Serena's part, Maddie Young was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave Young a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of RayElle Brennan, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4.

Serena's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Earlville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
