Baseball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 10-6 to the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Adam Barreto made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Orozco, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Hamilton has already played their next match, a 5-2 defeat against Calipatria on the 4th. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they and Hemet will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
