Recap: Pine View Panthers vs. Crimson Cliffs Mustangs
The Pine View Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Crimson Cliffs by a score of 53-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pine View.
Pine View found their leader in underclassman Charity Falaniko, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Falaniko has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Casey Morley, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Defeat or not, Crimson Cliffs got some senior leadership from Summer Adams and Kinsey Plewe. Adams scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Plewe. scored ten points along with four steals. Plewe hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.
Pine View's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Crimson Cliffs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine View's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Hurricane at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hurricane and Pine View are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Crimson Cliffs, they will be playing at home against Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
