Basketball Recap: Crosstown Comes Up Short

Crosstown was the 77-50 winner over Memphis Rise Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Crosstown Explorers fell 58-46 to Memphis Rise Academy on Tuesday. The Explorers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crosstown's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Memphis Rise Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crosstown will head out to take on Soulsville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Memphis Rise Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Trezevant at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
