Basketball Recap: Hixson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Whitwell last Tuesday, Hixson came back down to earth. The Hixson Wildcats had to suffer through a 59-24 loss at the hands of the Soddy Daisy Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 408th, while the Trojans are ranked 195th).

Hixson dropped their record down to 1-24 with the defeat, which was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Soddy Daisy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-8.

As of now, neither Hixson nor Soddy Daisy have any future games scheduled.
