Soccer Recap: Lindbergh Takes a Loss

Lindbergh had taken Ladue Horton Watkins down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Flyers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Lindbergh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Ladue Horton Watkins are ranked fifth).

Lindbergh has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season. As for Ladue Horton Watkins, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lindbergh will head out to square off against De Smet Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ladue Horton Watkins, they will challenge Westminster Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
