Baseball Game Recap: Chattanooga Central Pounders vs. Signal Mountain Eagles

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Chattanooga Central's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-0 to the Signal Mountain Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Monday.

This is the second loss in a row for Chattanooga Central and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Signal Mountain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chattanooga Central will welcome Howard Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Signal Mountain, they will square off against CSTHEA at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
