Football Recap: Westmont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Westmont fell victim to Walther Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 36-0 loss at the hands of the Broncos. The Sentinels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Westmont and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Walther Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Walther Christian Academy will host Fieldcrest at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westmont will be paying especially close attention to the Broncos' game: after the Broncos face off against Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington, they'll take on Westmont again at 1:00 p.m. on the 18th.
