Goodrich had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Lake Fenton Blue Devils. That's two games straight that the Martians have won by exactly three runs.

Jayden Gohs spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Goodrich's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Alisyn Raether, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Another was Ayannah Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Goodrich's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Lake Fenton, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-3.

Goodrich will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Devils: the pair will be back at it again later today.
