Baseball Recap: Lompoc Victorious

Lompoc proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 13) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Paso Robles Bearcats 5-3. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

Ignacio Lara looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Cameron Baker was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.

Lompoc was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Lompoc's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Paso Robles, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
