Volleyball Game Preview: Elysian Fields Yellowjackets vs. Beckville Bearcats

Elysian Fields hasn't had much luck against Beckville recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Yellowjackets will host the Bearcats at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Elysian Fields not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Gary as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Elysian Fields was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Beckville beat Garrison 3-1 on Tuesday.

Beckville walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 22-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Elysian Fields' victory bumped their record up to 6-22. As for Beckville, their win bumped their record up to 30-7.
