Basketball Recap: Conestoga Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Conestoga won the last time they faced Garnet Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Conestoga Pioneers came out on top against the Garnet Valley Jaguars by a score of 41-33. The 41-point effort marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Conestoga has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Garnet Valley, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 16-5.

Conestoga and Garnet Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Conestoga (ranked 40th) will meet Haverford (ranked 243rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Garnet Valley will challenge Ridley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 360 places (53 vs. 413).
