Baseball Recap: Hillsboro Starts off Right with Win over Kickapoo

Hillsboro gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Kickapoo Panthers. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 10-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Hillsboro and Kickapoo will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tigers are set to square off against their familiar foe New Lisbon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kickapoo will take on rival De Soto at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
