Softball Recap: Carl Hayden Community Takes a Loss

Carl Hayden Community lost against Alhambra last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons came up short against the Lions, falling 17-7. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly ten runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Carl Hayden Community and nudges their season record down to 5-11. As for Alhambra, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

Coming up, Carl Hayden Community will be playing in front of their home fans against Glendale at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Alhambra, they will welcome McClintock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matches.
