Baseball Recap: John Curtis Christian Drops Highest Score of Season Against Patterson

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Curtis Christian). They never let the Patterson Lumberjacks get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on four straight.

Caden Battard looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, John Curtis Christian's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Juan Washington, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Xavier Brown was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
