Basketball Game Preview: LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals vs. Houston Hurricanes

LeRoy-Ostrander hasn't had much luck against Houston recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals will head out on the road to face off against the Houston Hurricanes at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

LeRoy-Ostrander is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wabasha-Kellogg.

Houston has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 68-50 bruising from Rushford-Peterson on Monday.

LeRoy-Ostrander will have to contain Aubry Boldt as she made an impact in Houston's last game. She went 6 for 13 on her way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorja Meyer, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points and seven rebounds.

LeRoy-Ostrander's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

LeRoy-Ostrander was taken down by Houston 73-42 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Boldt, who went 16 of 21 on her way to 33 points and four steals.
