Baseball Game Preview: Forbush Falcons vs. Chatham Central Bears

The Forbush Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Chatham Central Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Chatham Central took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Forbush, who comes in off a win.

Forbush's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Mount Airy with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Chatham Central came up short against Southeast Alamance on Thursday, falling 11-1. The Bears have struggled against the Stallions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Chatham Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reid Caviness, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Chatham Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Forbush, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
