While Mercer put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Reynolds. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Raiders. Considering the Mustangs have won four games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Angelina Eakman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Stoepfel, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Bella Beers was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Mercer has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
