The home team had won the previous four meetings between Rowan County and Menifee County, and Rowan County kept the tradition alive. Everything went the Rowan County Vikings' way against the Menifee County Wildcats on Tuesday as the Rowan County Vikings made off with a 16-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 on Tuesday.

Bram Bloomfield looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Aaron Pennington and Will Richardson did most of the damage at the plate: Pennington went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Richardson went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits Pennington has posted since back in April of 2024. Brody Lykins was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Rowan County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Menifee County only posted an OBP of .250.

Rowan County's record now sits at 2-0. As for Menifee County, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Rowan County will challenge Lewis County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Menifee County, they will take on Paris at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
