Baseball Recap: Block Takes a Loss

Block was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-4 loss last Monday.

Block's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for St. Joseph's - Plaucheville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Block will square off against Delta Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph's - Plaucheville has already played their next game (against Alexandria Country Day), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
