Football Recap: McKay Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McKay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Aloha Warriors 48-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Aloha to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Strickling, who rushed for 126 yards and two scores on only nine carries. The Warriors are 2-1 when Strickling posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Aryel Garcia-Meraz, who rushed for 76 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.

McKay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Aloha, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McKay will take on rival Wilsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Aloha is set to challenge their familiar foe McNary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
