After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spanish Fork, Wasatch was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Timpview Thunderbirds 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in August.

Wasatch took Timpview into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 23-25, 18-25, 15-13.

Annie Cronauer paced Wasatch's offense, picking up 18 kills. Cronauer got some help from Milani Allred and her 31 assists. Cronauer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wasatch is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Timpview, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wasatch is set to take on their familiar foe Pleasant Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Timpview will face off against rival Spanish Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
